D(c), MSN, MS, RN, CEN, SANE • Arizona ENA State Council • Began nursing career at Loyola Hospital, Chicago • Long-time member of the California State Council and Loma Prieta Chapter, and California State Council President in 1997 • Emergency-trauma ethicist and strong advocate for victims of sexual assault and intimate partner violence • Appointed to ENA’s first Wellness Committee • Her photo, “Flat Chris, ” traveled to Nashville in 2013 so “her” picture could be taken with many of her ENA friends. The photos were made into a book that she was able to see shortly before she died. • ENA was in her heart until the end

Virginia ‘Ginny’ Myerscough, BSN, RN, CEN • Missouri ENA State Council (Greater St. Louis Chapter) • ENA member since 1978 and emergency nurse 50 years • Helped establish the Greater St. Louis Chapter; an active member from the start, holding a variety of positions • Team Leader on seven mission trips to Bolivia and volunteered to help Hurricane Katrina victims • Received many awards through ENA including two lifetime achievement awards and Emergency Nurse of the Year award in 1995 • Born in the late 1930 s with a hole in her heart and not expected to live past her teenage years • Went from an LPN to RN to BSN all while working full time and raising 8 children; always considered a fighter
