MORE TRENDS? You will watch a clip about Japanese fashion. There will be 15 different fashion in the clip and you must choose 3 top fashion you would like to wear or would be interested in trying them.
In English, “wear” takes many objects. Ex. wear clothes, perfume, make up, pants, shoes, glasses, a sweater, skirt, jacket, etc. HOWEVER in Japanese, there are different verbs depending on the items!

KIMASU きます Kimasu means “to wear” but it is only used for clothes worn in UPPER BODIES.
SO, HOW SHALL WE SAY “WEAR A SHIRT”? What is a word for a “shirt”? Shatsu しゃつ What is a word for “to wear” for a shirt? Kimasu きます How shall we put in a sentence using two clues above? Shatsu wo kimasu. しゃつ を きます。 **を(wo) is a particle and is like a glue. を(wo) is used to connect a verb (kimasu) and a noun (shatsu). Without particles, Japanese sentences cannot be completed. (eg. There is always は(wa) after main subjects such as Watashi or Boku. )
