Global Connectivity ■ Students abroad for academic purposes: – 2009 -2010: 4 – 2010 -2011: 22 – 2011 -2012: 31 • 41% INCREASE FROM 2010 -2011!

Women’s Leadership ■ Women’s Leadership Institute is an important strategic initiative – Arlene Peltola named coordinator of WLI – Partnership with Power of Women – Women’s Business Summit hosted at CCC in June with Gloria Steinem as the keynote speaker
Women’s Leadership Institute ■ Undergraduate Leadership Certificate ■ Executive Leadership Academy – Launching series of 5 seminars on topics such as: Effective Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Effective Communication, Working for Change, and Career Strategy – Aimed at entry level working women to midcareer working women
Women’s Leadership ■ Office of Leadership and Student Development – Leadership Office positions available 2012: 281 – Average number of leadership positions per student leader: 1. 39 – Percentage of traditional students in leadership positions: 26%

Scholarship, Creativity, Liberal Arts ■ In 2011 -2012 – Faculty published 10 articles, 1 book chapter and one Readers Theatre script – Faculty made 25 presentations professional conference – Faculty were featured in 2 art exhibitions, acted in 1 play
