NUTRITIONAL SUPPORT FOR INFANTS AND CHILDREN

Infatrini • is a nutritionally complete, energy dense, ready to use feed for the dietary management of infants (from birth up to 18 months or 8 kg in body weight) with faltering growth, or who have increased nutritional requirements and/or require fluid restriction

Key Features High energy – 100 kcal/100 ml § Achieves energy requirements in small volume (important for sick infants with reduced intakes) e. g. cardiac, respiratory § Contains lactose – the predominant energy source in breast milk – supplying energy, promoting a healthy gut flora & helps calcium uptake

Infatrini • Infatrini is suitable as a sole source of nutrition and contains prebiotics, nucleotides and a unique fat blend that contains LCPs* *long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids

Indications and Contraindications • • For enteral use only • • Not for intravenous use Disease related malnutrition, growth failure in infancy and malabsorption Not suitable for infants with galactosaemia, lactose intolerance and/or cows’ milk protein allergy

Ingredients

Infatrini • Store in a cool, dry place (5 -25°C) and away from direct sunlight. • Once opened Infatrini bottles should be stored in a refrigerator (<4°C) immediately and unused contents should be discarded within 12 hours. • If kept outside the fridge unused contents should be discarded within 4 hours or within 1 hour if fed directly from the glass bottle. Always discard unfinished feeds. For flexible pack use within 24 hours once attached to giving set.

Nutrinidrink • Nutrinidrink is a nutritionally complete food supplement, rich in vitamins and minerals and the mix of carotenoids. • Suitable for malnutrition before and after surgery, fluid restriction, oralmaxillofacial surgery, neurological disorders and heart disease.

Nutrinidrink • As a sole source of nutrition a minimum of 4 up to 6 bottles (depending on age) will meet the requirements of most children. is not suitable for infants under one year. • Other liquids can be added to meet fluid requirements. • As a supplement 1 to 3 bottles/day can be given.
