SHEPHERDESS ENGLISH: • Mass Pastoral - a solemn Mass celebrated at night (usually at midnight or in the evening) with 24 on December 25, as the second of the liturgical celebrations of Christmas. Shepherdess commemorates the waiting and prayer of the shepherds on their way to Bethlehem. In Poland , it is one of the most important Christmas traditions. • Polish: • Msza Pasterska – uroczysta msza odprawiana w nocy (najczęściej o północy lub w godzinach wieczornych) z 24 na 25 grudnia, jako druga z liturgicznej uroczystości Bożego Narodzenia. Pasterka upamiętnia oczekiwanie i modlitwę pasterzy zmierzających do Betlejem. W Polsce jest jedną z najważniejszych świątecznych tradycji.

curiosities • The most popular carol is "Silent Night", which is known all over the world. There is a translation in over 300 languages. • There are different customs related to gifts in different regions of Poland. Some of the gifts are brought by a Santa Claus, Christmas present, an angel or Jesus. In some regions, gifts are given after Christmas Eve dinner or on Christmas morning.

WHY I LIKE THIS TIME? • I very like christmas time because I can spend time with my all family, I get gifts, I don’t have to go to school and we sing carols!!
