FREIGHT CLAIMS EMAIL: BE-UPG-Logistics@jci. com and/or Contact: Jeremy. lee. winters@jci. com (304)380 -8096 SHORTAGES, OVERAGES, DAMAGES AND MISS-SHIPPED PRODUCTS The body of the email should include: Invoice number, Sales Order Number or PO Number AND Model and Serial numbers (when applicable) Contact information (name, email and phone number) for whomever we need to contact regarding the claim Reason for claim request (shortage, overage, damage or miss-shipment) including brief explanation Options for Overages/Wrong product received – Pictures required for wrong product: Request Return of product Keep product and ask to be invoiced Options for shortages: Request credit for missing product (YOU must reorder to receive) BOL must note the shortage of pieces or no credit can be given Options for damages: Return Repair cost reimbursement (Provide parts invoice and labor time to repair) Discount in price to sell “AS IS” BOL must be noted with damages Pictures MUST be provided for all damage claims and wrong product shipped claims. NOTE: Shortages & damages MUST be noted on the carrier’s copy of the BOL or claim may be denied Shipments. Do NOT refuse product.
