Practice Taking Notes • Record rough notes first • Don’t have to worry about making them look good • Before: • Write down the title, name of the speaker and the date • Optional: Twitter handle, website, interesting details • During: • Write down any key points that YOU think is important • Don’t try to write everything down • Be brief • Don’t worry if you miss anything out • After: • Add some notes about what YOU think the main message is • Complete any unfinished notes • If Sketchnoting live, now is the time to add colour
