Online Expectations • Attend all Google Meets at scheduled times • Attendance will be taken, just as it would be in day school. • If you are absent for any reason an email needs to be sent, and you need to check Google Classroom for any, and all, materials you may have missed. • Google Avatar- Your Google Avatar should be a picture of you, not a cartoon/celebrity. We want to connect and build a community with you. • RESEPECT • Just as in the classroom, you will be respectful of your classmates and me. • Have your video on • Use the raise hand option (if available) • Utilize the chat feature appropriately • Please remember that this is “school” all language and attire should be appropriate. • Turn in all work on Google Classroom- DO NOT EMAIL ME YOUR WORK! • Check all of your work before submitting to ensure you are attaching/turning in the correct and completed document assignment • DO NOT TURN IN BLANK DOCUMENTS • Do not waste my time trying to trick me by turning in a blank assignment. I am smarter than that and it is an insult to my intelligence • If you do not do the work, wait and then turn it in late once you have completed it.

Email Etiquette ● ● ● ● Use your AACPS email for all communications with teachers and staff. If using a personal email address, make sure it is school appropriate! You will need one anyway for college and career applications, etc. Be polite and respectful; not demanding. (Say thank you!) Make sure that your email contains your name and class period. Write in complete sentences (don’t write like a text message!) The subject line should state what your email is about. The better you are at online communication, the smarter and more respectful you sound. Turn on notifications for your email and check at least once a day.
