PARAMETRIC DESIGN ■ Parametric design is a resource with which it is possible to achieve efficiency and fidelity between the design concept and result of a project. Through geometric and algorithmic relations, it also forms a bridge between traditional architectural production and new technological possibilities. –Archello

Volume: Draping, stretching, seaming Entry Paradise Pavilion Chris Bosse/PTW Architects 2006 Mirroring microscopic threedimensional space found in nature, those of organic cells, mineral crystals, and the natural formation of soap bubbles. The space is filled with a threedimensional lightweight sculpture that is solely based on minimal surface tension, freely stretching between wall, ceiling and floor. Lighting and projection bring it to life. Its fabric pattern was determined by software, essentially cutting it up into “sails” that could be cut of fabric and sewn together Can be packed up into a 17 kilogram carry-on bag. (37. 5 lbs).
