Voice Failover /Redundancy Geo Redundant SIP • Telesystem/LSI provides the ability to failover all incoming and outgoing voice traffic to a second SIP trunk at a geographically redundant location • Using SIP options request, the soft switch platform will detect a failure on the primary SIP trunk due to fiber cut, power outage or equipment failure and route calls over the secondary trunk • Service will revert back to primary path once service is restored Local SIP / PRI Failover • Telesystem/ LSI can deploy a premise-based SBC to failover voice from a LSI primary path to a secondary static public IP address in the event of a circuit failover. • Likewise using an Adtran voice gateway at the customer premise a PRI can failover from a primary to secondary IP address in the event of an outage on the primary carrier

Hosted PBX Added Redundancy WAN Link Redundancy • Telesystem/LSI provides the ability to detect loss of connectivity to the softswitch platform over the primary ISP or WAN link • With WAN link redundancy customers can make and receive phone calls over the secondary WAN connection • Service will revert back to primary path once service is restored Local Survivability Mode • In the event both primary and secondary WAN failures, local survivability allows for station-to-station calling for locally connected subscribers • Provides internal communication for emergency in the event of a catastrophic outage PSTN enabled analog ports • Many voice gateway models provide analog ports which can be used to place 911 calls in the event of an outage on the primary/ secondary WAN or softswitch platform.

Managed DIA / MPLS Failover • Telesystem/LSI provides a managed firewall to support failover of dedicated internet access (DIA) or MPLS • Supplied with a static public IP address on a secondary WAN interface, the managed firewall will detect an outage on the primary circuit path and failover DIA to a broadband or secondary ISP • Likewise with MPLS, the managed firewall will route private data over a secure IP Sec VPN tunnel back to HQ in the event of an outage on the primary circuit
