Introduction – Warm magnets for LB and HB 650 sections • The optical design of PIP-II requires warm quadrupoles for focusing the H- beam, in the energy range of 160 - 800 Me. V corresponding to the LB 650 and HB 650 sections of the superconducting linac. The optical design also requires dipole correctors for the beam orbit correction and optics measurements.
