FACULTY ADVISORS u For 1 st and 2 nd year students u 21 faculty family physicians involved (total 72 faculty advisors) u Family physicians advise 63 students (total 240 students) u Meet informally with advisees at least 3 times a year

MEDNET COMMON INTEREST GROUPS u u u Started in 2007 Three meetings per year at lunchtime 28 Groups have 12 -16 students from all 4 years Students assigned according to “common interests” Family physicians are resources for 5 groups: Rural, Urban Underserved, Integrative Medicine and 2 groups for Family Medicine
