Shakarim State University of Semey has been actively implementing the process of developing multilingual education policy on the following directions: scientificpedagogical, technical, agricultural, humanitarian and economic.

In 2015 - 2016 academic year the educational process of multilingual education was organized in the experimental form according to the model 40*40*20, and this 2016 - 2017 academic year has been organized according to the model 50*20*30. To master language skills among teaching staff and students of the University seminars with foreign visiting professors from Switzerland, Germany, Israel and the USA are being held constantly.

According to the memorandum between the University and schools of the city, aiming at exchanging the experience in teaching subjects in English language, the schools have become the base for students where they can master their professional skills in teaching in English language; also the teaching staff of the University publishes books and materials on the subjects in English language.

Folk heritage of Kazakh literature is represented by legends, tales, proverbs, sayings, poems. Among the samples of the heroic epic of the imperishable world's people are "Alpamys", “Kobylandy”, favorite Kazakh social epics -" Қозы Қорпеш - Bayan Sulu ", " Kyz Zhibek” and etc.
