ECO – LOGISTICS – what’s that? • Eco-logistics – it means the same as recovery logistics. It’s the process of planning, implementing and controlling the efficient, effective flow and storage of goods, services and related infromation from point of origin to point of consumption for the purpose of conforming to customer requirements in accordance with nature and providing safety of environment.

Eco-style in world countries Switzerland: Ø The bottles are sorted by colour (white, green and brown); Ø Receipts from the store are only thrown into a special paper container; Ø Second life of plastic bottles (80% of them are recycled); Ø All of cantons have carefully described ways of dealing with waste, which is strictly adhered to by their inhabitants.

Eco-style in world countries Luxembourg: Ø It’s a country with a low share of the industrial sector and therefore consumes little energy. In the years 1990 -1998 it decreased the emission of polluting substances by 58, 4%. Luxembourg has introduced financial penalties for garbage colletors, who will pay between 24 and 250 euros if they are caught contaminating pavements. Luxembourg is the first clean water country in Europe.

Eco-style in world countries Australia’s key environmental initiatives include: Ø Ratify the Kioto Protocol and set targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 25% in 2020 and 60% in 2050; Ø Set the national renewable energy consumption target at 20% of electricity consumption; Ø Increase from USD 4. 5 bn to USD 1 bn for the Clean Energy Initiative (CEI)

• CEI – is an institution dedicated to supporting the development, commercialization and implementation of renewable energy sources and supporting technologies and improving their competitiveness; accelerating the development and implementation of technologies reducing emissions from coal combustion; suppoting the construction of solar power plants.

Eco-style in world countries Singapore is at the forefront on environmental protection in the region. Very strict waste and pollutant emission regulations apply. The government is committed to developing good public transport and reducing car ownership, resulting in relatively clean air, outside the periods when smoke arrives during bush fires in Indonesia.

Eco-style in world countries The Czech Republic places great emphasis on. : Ø Natural protection of water accumulation, water resources, Ø Protection of air, nature and landscape, protection of the geological environment, Ø Control of geogical field work and ecological supervision of mining, Ø Waste management, Ø Activities related to the environmental impact assessment of waste.

Eco-style in wrold countries Germany is in the vanguard of environmentally conscious countries. Its goal is total energy purity. Germany has always signed up to all initiatives aimed at minimizing the disastrous impact of civilization on the world, to reduce the impact of greenhouse gases on the Earth’s atmosphere and climate. Ø Germany has announced the immediate closure of the eight oldest nuclear power plants and announced that a further nine will be closed by 2022.

Germany Ø Power plants using coal, gas and oil will be phased out, systematically, one after the other; Ø There will be in 2050 as much as 80% of the energy for this highly industrialised and popoulous country (80 milion) generated from renewable sources, mainly from the sun and wind. In this way, Gemany will contribute to reducing the negative impact of energy on the environment.
