§ AA and AS: § Made specifically for people who want to transfer to another school, designed to fit into a four-year program § Both are very flexible § Both exempt you from Pathways classes § AAS: § Designed to train you to for an occupation you will do right after graduation § Not good for transferring § Many credits/classes are not transferrable, Pathways classes are different § Make sure it is the right degree for your career! § Ex: Physical Therapy Assistants = AAS BUT Physical Therapists = Math and Science AS degree Four-year school and beyond

GCC degrees are all made for articulation agreements with other schools/programs. § Exempt from Pathways Common Core classes (since you took them already) Transferring without La. GCC degree § School will get to pick and choose as many or as little as they please. § You will have to retake classes there, which is likely to be more expensive, and also a waste of time.
