T HE C ALL TO A CTION How we teach and what we expect students to know and be able to do MUST change Kindergarten has been implementing the new standards for the last three years…so gradual improvement will happen THIS YEAR teachers must teach both the Florida Standards and begin to align to the Common Core Standards ALL students will be assessed on the new standards next year The work is necessarily going to be more difficult!
