Affirmative Informal Commands To tell someone you know to do something, you use an affirmative informal command. • To form the affirmative informal command of a regular or stem-changing verb, follow this step: – Drop the final s off the end of the tú form • Examples: – Hablas habla – Comes come – pides pide you speak SPEAK! you eat EAT! you ask (for) ASK FOR IT!

Affirmative IRREGULAR Informal Commands Some verbs have irregular informal command forms. • You MUST memorize these following commands: • Irregular Commands: venir ven (COME!) tener ten (HAVE!) salir sal (GO OUT!) poner pon (PUT!) hacer haz (DO/MAKE!) ser sé (BE!) decir di (TELL!) ir ve (GO!)
