INTERVIEWS SELECTION & INTERVIEWS Values Based Interviews The Values Based framework will ensure a standardised approach to recruiting students based on the values of the NHS Constitution. This will help to ensure maternity services employ midwives who embody these values and aim to provide the best possible care for women. Values Based Recruitment framework is included within the midwifery interviews. This will take the form of questions which look at the candidates’ values and beliefs. These questions combined with the candidates’ knowledge and understanding of the role of the midwife will provide valuable insight to guide the selection process.
