The School of Arts, Languages and Cultures One of four Schools in the Faculty of Humanities – along with Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS), School of Environment, Education and Development (SEED), and School of Social Sciences (So. SS). With over 5, 000 students, SALC is the size of a Faculty in most universities – in fact it’s equivalent to a small university in its own right!
