Thales Academy is … O Thales Academy is a K-12 college preparatory private school. Behavior Management O School-wide Live Schools system O Live Schools is a web-based program which allows teachers to track students’ behaviors (positive and negative) easily and efficiently. O With Live Schools, students are given positive points for on-task behavior, respect, participation and working hard. O Talking out, not following directions, being unprepared, & being disrespectful will result in points taken.

Dress Code and Handbook O Khaki or navy bottoms and school approved polo shirts! O Colors for shirts include: navy, red, & light blue O Shirts must be tucked in at all times O Review appropriate dress code within the handbook! O No high socks. Ankle and no show socks are preferred in black, navy or white. O No hooded sweatshirts or crewneck sweatshirts in the building. O Read through all of the handbook and be sure to sign the acknowledgement form

Homework Policy O Homework will be assigned each night of the week except for Fridays O Late homework will result in 10 points off per day it is late O Students will receive 3 accuracy grades per week O Absent-Please e-mail your child’s teacher and the office and work can be picked up by noon in the office O In addition to homework assigned by subject teachers, students should be reading 10 minutes per night O First assignment of the year: Bag it!
