SYNOPSIS OF THE MOVIE Doctor Strange is the story of the world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look for healing, and hope, in an unlikely place - a mysterious enclave known as Kamar-Taj. He quickly learns that this is not just a centre for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. Before long Strange -- armed with newly acquired magical powers - is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence.

SYNOPSIS OF THE VIDEO EXCERPT The scenes chosen show some situations in the hospital where Dr Strange worked and after he got involved into an accident, before he went to Kamar-Taj and meeting The Ancient One to cure his hands.

He convinced her that he can do it ‘freehandedly’. • Unethical act – neglecting the proper surgical procedures, believed that he could still do better without any guidance. • Effect on patient – Might incur medical errors. • Recommendation - should refer to the guides to avoid any unexpected mistakes.

CRITICAL INCIDENT 5: BAD ATTITUDE • Dr Palmer was advising Dr Strange about his harsh treatment towards his coworker, Dr Nic but he acted like he was not doing anything wrong. • Bad attitude - An act of ignorance • Effect on his co-worker – embarrassed him in front of everyone, making people around him to lose respect with him • Recommendation - should accept her advice and apologize on his action

CRITICAL INCIDENT 6: PROPER ETIQUETTE • The physiotherapist kept motivating Dr Strange during the physiotherapy session despite the fact that he degraded him and doubting his own ability to recover. • Practicing proper etiquette: politeness towards patient • Effect on patient: motivates him to not giving up, giving him hope that he could recover completely from his illness
