Unit 1 Area of Study 1 ‘Students develop understanding of the concepts of youth health and individual human development, and explore the interrelationships that exist within and between them. Students become aware of the differing methods for measuring health status and develop a greater understanding of the health status of youth. ’ (HHD Study Design, VCAA pg 13) Outcome 1 ‘… be able to describe the dimensions of, and the interrelationships within and between, youth health and individual human development, an analyse the health status of Australia’s youth using appropriate measurements. ’ (HHD Study Design, VCAA pg 14) Youth is defined as twelve to eighteen years of age
