Status • The ECR LHC-TEC-EC-0001 EDMS n. 1329235 requested space reservation for 2 Cherenkov detectors in LHC: • • TECDV. 5 L 7. B 1 – start DCUM 19889. 1664 TECDH. 4 L 7. B 1 – start DCUM 19980. 4224 The names of the devices was recently changed to TQCD (T because it intercepts the beam, Quartz Cherenkov Detector). We would like to start working on these devices: • • • Similar devices (i. e. same functionality) installed in SPS (TQCD. 51991) and in preparation for TT 20 (TQCD. 210271) New design for LHC to be prepared by the end of 2016 Installation could be requested for the YETS 2017 -2018 15 -Sep-20 S.
