If someone approached me today and told me to choose between Monat and my family, I would always choose my family. ● Learn to make sacrifices around your non-negotiables. ● For example, spending time with Jon is a non-negotiable for me so on the weekdays i try to get all my messaging, follow-ups, nad potential calls done before he gets home and on the weekends i’ll wake up an hour or 2 early that way i can work my business while he’s asleep and I don’t have to give up our time together.

Be purposeful with your time. ● Be clear about the necessary sacrifices, and know that focused time produces better results. ○ ● This business WILL take sacrifices - every good thing does. Tracking Your Business ● Do you track your business? - If not, now is the time to start! ● Not tracking your business can give you the perception that you are doing better than you think you are. ● Know where your time is being spent! Any successful CEO knows what’s going on in their company. You should, too. Taking time to reflect and be honest about how your time is allocated is another key component to success. ● Did you know athletes know there stats? A professional basketball player knows every missed shot, every layup, every misstep so they can constantly strive to beat their personal best. You should be doing the same. If you don’t take the time to reflect on what is or is not working, how will you expect to beat your best?

Tracking Your Business If you aren’t tracking your business and what you are doing,

Tracking Your Business If you aren’t tracking your business and what you are doing, the time you spend on your business won’t get you anywhere. Your business won’t grow if you aren’t keeping that door of contacts open. It all comes down to the number of people you talk to. Time management and tracking go hand-in-hand. ● Set your intentions for the day to know what it is you want to accomplish. ● Work from a to-do list to stay on track with business building activities. ● Use a timer to avoid losing track of where your business hours are going. If you don’t track your progress, you don’t know where you stand. ● Understanding where things are going right or wrong will let you to make adjustments as you go. ● This business works, but you need to ensure you’re both putting in the time and spending that

Tracking Your Business With tracking, be sure you aren’t deflecting to administrative tasks. Don’t get lost in the stationary section at Target trying to find the prettiest tools to make sure you start off perfectly (you know what I mean!!). Don’t spend hours organizing lists to eventually work from. Remember that efficiency and effectiveness lead to performance. Good or bad. ● Stay in business building mode. The minute you get lost in the fluff is the minute you start becoming inefficient. ● Remember that busy work is NOT an excuse for not prospecting. Also, stop scrolling and know the difference between mindless scrolling and truly working your business. Create that boundary. Kill the newsfeed busywork. Never open your computer unless you have an actual plan of action.

If you want this to be a real business, you have to treat it like one.
