RCMP Grant Program Example: Hurricane shutters FEMA STUDY “for every dollar spent on mitigation, communities save $4 dollars in repairs. ” • City awarded $194, 000 to provide residential mitigation assistance • Single family homes • Located in Palm Coast • Must be primary residence • Emphasis on low and moderate Income • Emphasis on homes built prior to 2002
