Poster Task Reservoir Dogs 1. In the reservoir dogs poster the stand out colour is red. Red usually is compared to blood, dangerous things or the colour for stop. 2. The men are dressed smartly in suits and look serious as if they’re on business or are in some sort mob or mafia related activities. 3. From the poster I can tell the movie may be about business or organized crime, it could also have some violence due to the use of red on the poster. 4. One stereotype on the poster is because the men are wearing suits it’s usually seen that they could be rich, well groomed and business orientated. Predictions 1. Characters are in organized crime such as the mafia or mob. 2. Going to do a crime such as a Heist or robbery. 3. Going on a business trip due to there smart clothing.

Ex Machina 1. The colours on the poster show pitch black in the background which is usually attributed to mystery and the unknown. 2. There is one character on the poster which looks like a female android. Her position is her back towards the cover and face facing towards the viewer with a plain expression on her face. 3. The character is made of robotic parts this could be found in films dealing with robots and a futuristic world. 4. The storyline may be based on artificial intelligence , this is due to the character having human features like her human face compared to her robotic body. Another storyline could be about the future of humans creating androids. Predictions 1. Futuristic society with robots and other mechanical beings. 2. Humans creating artificial intelligence. 3. Robots taking over their creators.

Most of the cover is completely black except for two parts, those being of a character facing towards the cover which is black and white and three pictures showing police officers with a blue hue on their pictures. 2. On the poster it shows only a person’s eyes their expression seems to be annoyed or angry. It could also be seen as the character looking straight at the viewer. 3. The costumes seen are of the riot police officers riot uniform these can be seen in times of trouble and disorder. 4. It could be about police trying to bring order to the area or it could be highlighting some police brutality. Predictions 1. Revolution or civil war storyline. 2. Martial law in a certain area probably in France due to the French language used on the poster. 3. Altercations between police and civilians.

There is only one stand out colour which is the pink the main character is wearing. They seem to be serious and have regal posture all in their set positions for a photograph. The woman in the pink dress seems to signify she’s the odd one from the rest of the group, bright colours such as pink are usually attributed to cheerfulness and happiness. The other characters on the other hand are all black and white as if they’re one unit black and white can be seen as boring, plain or old. The storyline could have something to do with the main lady being the odd one out of the other characters, maybe due to different views or a differing personality Predictions A movie about rich and wealthy business people and one chooses a different path. The character trying to find love but feels she's different from everyone. Main character losing people in her life such as friends and loved ones.

It shows the characters have some similar appearances and both making the same facial expression looking towards the viewer. 3. Both characters are wearing suits and suits are usually attributed to rich, smart and well groomed. Also with the text on the magazine about the presidency it could have something to do with them trying to run for office. 4. The storyline could be about these characters wanting to be president or it could be about one character trying to take the others identity. Predictions 1. Presidential candidates trying to become president. 2. One character trying to be as successful as another due to him holding a magazine to show some similarities between both of them. 3. A movie about taking the identity of the other character.

Under The Skin 1. The colour black is seen like the vastness of space. The colours on the characters face are multi coloured like the northern lights this could mean the character holds importance. 2. The character looks as if see is looking into the unknown of space or looking directly at the viewer. 3. The storyline seems to have something to do with space, it could be aliens, human colonization of the stars or travelling further then the known galaxy. Predictions 1. Humans going beyond what they’ve already seen in space. 2. Humans colonizing space. 3. Aliens coming to the solar system or Earth.
