My. School My. Village My. Planet currently raises more than R 3 million every month in donations for schools, charities, animal and environmental organisations. . .

We love. . . • We are passionate about quality education and aim to support schools through fundraising efforts. • We are also keenly aware of the challenges facing education and our precious natural environment. • Together we can raise valuable funds for schools, give back to the planet and inspire South Africa to stand up for our endangered animals. . .

Swipe for Africa! My. School My. Village My. Planet and Woolworths are challenging schools and individuals to help us save South Africa’s endangered animals. Get involved simply by 1. swiping your card to raise funds 2. actively participating in conservation and sharing your story 3. learning more about our animals

1) Schools 3 x Grand prizes for top performing schools – R 100 000 for the school, plus – R 50 000 for a My. Planet charity of your choice, plus – A motivational talk by eco warrior Braam Malherbe (Valued at R 22 000) 3 x Weekly learner prizes for 5 weeks for top schools – E. g. Chuckles or Milkshake vouchers

1) Schools Winning schools are identified based on points. POINTS CALCULATION per week = Number of Transactions x Number of Woolies Stores x Number of Items purchased Note: one transaction per customer per store per day. Multiple stores may be visited per day, but purchases at a single store may not be split. Excludes purchases of airtime or account payments. Excludes Engen Woolworths Foodstops.

1) Schools • Top 400 schools invited to participate. • The first 300 registered schools each receive a welcome pack containing: - Branded campaign stickers - Temporary tattoos for learners - Promotional posters - Promotional leaflets • All schools have access to downloadable campaign material from the website (e. g. Parent letters, posters, newsletter inserts etc)

3) Learners Share your inspirational conservation story and win! – Are you, your class or your school doing something special to help save our endangered animals or the environment? (e. g. planting trees, raising money for animal protection, clearing alien plants, reducing litter. . . ) – Share your project on our facebook page and South Africa will vote for their favourite! – The top voted for entry wins: • Inspirational talk by eco warrior, Braam Malherbe, plus • R 5 000 class party, plus • R 10 000 towards your project
