Location: Jäneda, Lääne-Viru County, ESTONIA • New period started – October 2014 • 2014 -2020 – 8, 5 employees – innovation specialist and web designer

The main goals for Estonian NSU activities • To improve the quality of RDP

The main goals for Estonian NSU activities • To improve the quality of RDP implementation; • Participating at RDP communication; • To increase the involvement of target groups and inform wider public and potential beneficiaries about rural development policy; • To contribute on the development of innovation in agricultural, food, forestry and rural sectors. • LEADER measure: information days, seminars and summer-seminar about place-marketing;

Cooperation with Estonian Public Broadcasting • Estonian Rural Network Unit has produced video -clips

Cooperation with Estonian Public Broadcasting • Estonian Rural Network Unit has produced video -clips and interviews in cooperation with Estonian PB – ETV - in 2008 and 2010 to 2014. • All togeter 165 videoclips • Rural Network Unit organized a competition to find projects for the video-clips. • A special committee formed to choose the best projects.

Nordic-Baltic LEADER Transnational Cooperation (TNC) Awards 2013 • 2013, Rural Network Support Units from the Nordic-Baltic Region Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland Sweden initiated the Nordic-Baltic LEADER Transnational Cooperation (TNC) Awards. The aim of the competition is to: • highlight the importance • promote existing LEADER TNC “success stories” • Inspire LAG-s to continue during the new programming period • reinforce the role of LEADER in supporting implementation of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region.
