Students will rotate through each special area four days of the week. Mondays will be Integrated Arts Day, when each week students will receive an extra hour of art, music, or physical education. For this reason, we ask students to be prepared and wear gym shoes on Integrated Arts days in addition to their regular P. E. class. 2017 -2018

• Students in K-5 th Grade are placed heterogeneously in homeroom classes through a data driven process. • 2 nd through 5 th Grade math groupings occur. • Placement each year builds off of student ability, student needs, personal characteristics (social/emotional), teacher recommendations, & parental input, to find the best fit and blend students into microcosms of society and prepare them for the 21 st Century and life beyond North Allegheny. • Math placement testing will occur the first 1 -2 days of school.
