Final Written Exam = 10% • You have 15 minutes to complete the exam. • Don’t look at another student’s paper. If you do, I will do this! >>>>>
Days and times • Let’s choose days and times for your presentations. • You can choose a day but if everyone wants the same day, then I will just choose names in the order on the Attendance List.
Tips for your presentations … If you are doing a presentation, a good way to begin is like this: ‘Hello everyone, today I would like to talk about ____. ’ A good way to finish is like this: ‘Thank you for listening. ’
Tips for your dialogues … • If you are doing a dialogue, please introduce the setting: • The place • The people • You can use powerpoint or instead use signs. • You can use props (소품).
Scripts • On the day of your exam, give me the script of what you will say and also give me a copy of your powerpoint (if you use it). • If you use powerpoint or anything on the computer, bring a memory stick AAAAAAAND email it to your own email - in case something goes wrong with your memory stick.

Grading your Oral Exam • Your Final Oral Exam is worth 20% • I understand that some of you are shy and that you have different levels of English. Don’t worry about that. • You can get a good grade if you show EFFORT (노력) and preparation. • Did you prepare well / show effort? • Did you prepare something interesting / creative? • Did you speak clearly, loudly? • Did you use good grammar and vocabulary? 5% 5%
Grading • There is a grading curve for all Communication English classes. The University says that in one class – No more than 30% of students can get A No more than 40% of students can get B But - 40% of students MUST get C or D or F

TOEIC • Give me a print-out of your TOEIC score as soon as possible. • You must give me by the 16 th June. • You can print your score at www. entest. co. kr
