Erasmus + Online Linguistic Support Ø The Online Linguistic Support (OLS) has been designed

Erasmus + Online Linguistic Support Ø The Online Linguistic Support (OLS) has been designed to assist Erasmus+ participants in improving their knowledge of the language in which they will work or study Ø The OLS offers online language assessments (mandatory) and language courses to participants in Erasmus+ mobility activities of at least three months (studies/traineeships) Ø In one of the following languages as the main language of instruction or work: German, English, Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch etc. Ø The results of your language assessment do not prevent you from taking part in the Erasmus+ mobility. For Higher Education students, the results are not communicated to the receiving institution/organisation.

Erasmus+ OLS Ø Two mandatory assessments: Ø one prior to your departure Ø one

Erasmus+ OLS Ø Two mandatory assessments: Ø one prior to your departure Ø one upon your return Ø You will receive a link to the assessment to your AAU student email about 1 month prior to departure Ø The assessment takes approx. 30 to 40 minutes, and consists of questions regarding e. g. grammar, vocabulary and comprehension with a total of 70 questions. Ø You will have 30 days to fulfill the assessment Ø The result is automatically sent to the Erasmus+ coordinator

Erasmus+ OLS Ø Results are ranged from level A 1 (lowest score) to C

Erasmus+ OLS Ø Results are ranged from level A 1 (lowest score) to C 2 (highest score) Ø If your result is B 1 (or lower) you have the opportunity to follow an online language course during your stay abroad in order to improve your language competence, if you wish to. Requirements for the Erasmus+ grant Ø When you registered for a Traineeship you automatically applied for an Erasmus+ grant as well – provided that you applied before the deadline for the fall semester: 1 March 2018 Ø You are also required to upload the reqiured documents as soon as possible – no later than 1 June 2018 Ø Finally you must fulfill the first Erasmus+ OLS language assessment Medium range EURO per month E+ Traineeships 435 Lower range EURO per month 385

Disbursement of the Erasmus+ grant Ø I will send you the Erasmus+ Grant Agreement

Disbursement of the Erasmus+ grant Ø I will send you the Erasmus+ Grant Agreement (to your AAU student email). Ø Please read it carefully!!! Ø You must also read the guidelines for the Grant Agreement which I send to you. Ø When everything is okay, please sign the document and upload in the system and also notify me by email (trn@adm. aau. dk). Scanned copies are accepted. Ø The grant will be disbursed to your Danish bank account (NEM account) (if you do not have a NEM account please read the instructions in the guidelines).

Insurances Ø Remember to bring along your European Health Card – Health insurance is mandatory (the EU card is the minimum requirement for EU citizens) Ø Find out if you are covered properly by your current insurances (please ask your insurance company) Ø It is mandatory to be covered by an accident and liability insurance 24 -7! Work liability - Mandatory for Erasmus+ Traineeships

Special Needs support Ø In the programme guide for Erasmus+ the persons eligible for

Special Needs support Ø In the programme guide for Erasmus+ the persons eligible for SNS is defined like this: ”…. a person with special needs is a potential participant whose individual physical, mental or health-related situation is such that his/her participation in the project/mobility action would not be possible without extra financial support”. Ø To eligible for this ekstra grant certain documentation is needed (a doctors note).
