Biotechnology & Environment YES § Biotechnology & Environment YES (Young Entrepreneurs Schemes) are innovative competition developed to raise awareness of the commercialisation of bioscience and environment researchers, students and staff. § For the last three years Newcastle has hosted a regional heat of Biotech YES, with Newcastle teams progressing to the national finals. In 2009 two Newcastle teams were 1 st and 2 nd in the Environment YES competition.
