Implement Procedures on tents: use these for specific activities like art, science, or other group work type of learning activity. The tent goes in the middle of the table and serves as a guide. Remember: Procedures are NOT rules What if a student refuses? There are no punishments if a procedure is not done you need to help the student understand that a procedure is simple a set of actions to get something done. Got a job? How do you open a locker? How do you start a car? If you make a procedure a rule…then you better have the consequences laid out in your mind…whatever they may be.
