General information about Zinc Phosphide Concentrate • Fairly stable once mixed. • Garlic odor. • Limit long periods of direct odor. • Wash down equipment – mixer, tubs , bucket, PPE daily. • ATV – side by side care.

Field work – Application of pre-bait / treated bait. • Timing of application once squirrels first emerge. • Prior to diet change. • Timing-mid morning. • Weather conditions – rain, snow. • Amount -. 05 • Placement of bait – best side of holes, etc. • Pre-bait less, treated bait more. • Amount of coverage – labor force, head count. • Get in and get out – no shooting etc. , allow squirrels to feed quietly.

Monitoring of fields pre and post applications. • Hazing – migratory birds, 14 days prior. • Kill times – morning and evening. • Dragging fields. • Disposal of unused bait. • Disposal of dead rodents • No secondary kills recorded.
