There’s a full range. Not sure the question was clear. (3 people from ID answered 3 different ways. ) May want to come up with a checklist of features that define a “comprehensive statewide weed mapping system. ” BLM has the National Invasive Species Information Management System (NISIMS). Each Field Office contributes data, including the mapping of weed infestations.

WA: Statewide priorities are often agency-specific. Tiered weed listing drives priorities. ID: Area offices contribute acreage to a statewide solicitation for contractors to manage noxious weeds annually. CA: CDFA, Cal-IPC and local weed managers partner to set regional priorities. This process is in progress, with some areas done and others only planned. ND: The NDWCA. WY: Each county determines their priority levels. MT: Through EDDMap. S and the State Weed Coordinators Alliance. NPS: The EPMTs are required to use NISIMS but the parks aren't, and planning and regional priorities are not a part of this process. BLM: For Field Office prioritization, it is budgetdriven based, often, upon national priorities.
