Additional HESI A 2 exam The Critical Thinking portion of HESI A 2 entrance exam will be required starting with the January 2016 application period. A minimum score of 750 for ADN and 700 for VN HESI A 2 valid for one year from the date taken. If successfully completed NLT January 2015, contact the Nursing Department of their first choice for guidance.

English Proficiency Requirement Accepted students and alternates to a LSCS nursing program who completed

English Proficiency Requirement Accepted students and alternates to a LSCS nursing program who completed high school outside the US must provide proof of English language proficiency. Can be done by submitting one of the following: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) International English Language Testing System Academic Test (IELTS ) Provide documentation of graduation from high school from an English speaking country such as Canada (other than Quebec), Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Ireland (inclusive). NEW: If graduated from English speaking high school in a country not listed above, provide official transcripts and a notarized letter from the headmaster/principal of the high school stating that English was the primary language of the courses taught. NEW: Provide documentation of graduation from a college/university in the US or above listed countries

SSNs &/or Visas Clinical sites require students be either US citizens, a permanent resident

SSNs &/or Visas Clinical sites require students be either US citizens, a permanent resident (possess a “green card”) or have a valid F-1 Visa ONLY as a condition of being assigned to their site. Students who are unable to complete the LSCS health program clinical skills requirement will not be able to complete the program due to a lack of clinical placement.
