The nodule covered by smooth mucosa was measured 0. 6 x 0. 5 cm in size and firm to soft to palpation. An excision was performed. (5/8)-2. Explain clinical & histopathological diagnosis A 15 years old girl came with her mother to our OS Dept. for a swelling mass of the anterior midline of her neck for 1 month. The site of the lesion was close to the hyoid bone. The swelling was measuring 2. 5 x 2. 0 cm in size and painless, fluctuant and movable. (5/8)-3. Explain clinical & histopathological diagnosis A 65 years old male patient had been to local dental clinic (LDC) for pain and swelling over his lower left posterior area for 2 weeks. After examination and X-ray taking, the dentist suggested him to come to our OS Dept. for further treatment, The panoramic X-ray reveals an irregular and ragged pericoronal radiolucent lesion over impacted tooth 48. Bony destruction of the alveolar crest and disruption of superior border of right mandibular canal were noted. No pain or tenderness was complained. The oral examination revealed swelling of the left maxillary labial fold.
