This year, our university celebrated its 85 th anniversary, and the Department of Computer - 50 years. For 50 years the department has trained several thousand specialists in the field of computer technology. It is including specialists in the field of cybersecurity.

In recent years, the university has developed a number of new courses, substantially reworked and supplemented existing courses on the problems of information security, functional security in the field of railway transport. A number master theses are dedicated of The Information and the functional safety. Employee of the University defended his doctoral thesis on information security on railway transport.

For the development and adjustment of curricula in the field of cyber security we have analyzed similar plans in several European and other countries. These plans were prepared with the assistance of our European partners in the project

For undergraduates it has been developed and tested course "The practice of designing secure information systems", where they learn software packages remedies (for example, Crypto. API), integrated into the operating system.

The new curriculum includes a number of new courses. For example, for training of masters and researchers it is provided the course "Methods of artificial intelligence to build information security systems. “ It has been designed (and have read) course "Protecting programs and data. "

We have developed a program of the course System and Networks Security and Resilience supplemented by an alternative unit "Cryptography". This unit is designed for those course participants who has not studied this course (cryptography) before. We expect alternative blocks from our project partners.

The University conducts training courses for the employees of railways of Ukraine (primarily computer centers). For training courses, we have developed a training program for professionals in the field of information security. It has been already held a course of lessons.

We have already reported that our university has the status of a branch of the Academy Cisco. Now we are preparing teachers-instructors who will be certified as "Cisco Instructor". This will allow our university to prepare Certified Professionals (CCNA, CCNS certifications). We are planning such work for both students and professionals to students undergoing additional training.

As we prepared the program System and Networks Security and Resilience lecture material has been developed. It is designed as a slide (to a large extent - animation). For example, it is show a series of slides of sections "cryptography", "protection networks", "authentication", "Organization of access. “ It is being prepared tutorials in text form (in Ukrainian). For the advertised rate it has been developed a series of laboratory work. The university established practice that the lecturer develops laboratory work with studentsundergraduates. Often - this is theme of master's theses. Many labs which are being developed by undergraduates can be performed remotely. There are examples of some laboratory work carried out within the framework of master's theses.

In the master's thesis of O. Govor it was developed a program complex to study the operation principles of some cryptographic generators of pseudorandom sequences, in particular, the BBS and the LFSR ones

The master's thesis of R. Teterin contains the research and development of evaluation tools of re-usable passwords resistance to major attacks.

The master's thesis of D. Navozenko [21] includes the development of the program complex to study the authentication system based on the onetime passwords S/Key
