I. Christians are pilgrims, not tourists. 基督徒是朝聖者, 不是觀光客.

Three major pilgrimages of the faithful Hebrews in the OT 舊約忠心的希伯來人每年作 三次朝聖之旅 (出 Ex 23: 14 -17; 34: 22 -24; 路 Luke 2: 41 -42) • Feast of Passover (spring) (逾越節-春) • Feast of Pentecost (early summer) (五旬節-初夏) • Feast of Tabernacles (autumn) (住棚節-秋) – Worship (敬拜神) – Give thanks (感謝神) – Make offering (奉献給神)

II. Worship is the center of Christians’ life. 敬拜是基督徒生活的中心. • • Normal, average life activity (正常, 普通, 自動) Why don’t you go to church? (為何不去教会? ) Why do you go to church? (為何去教会? ) One sufficient reason for going. (去的主要原因)

III. God seeks true worshippers. 神尋找真正的敬拜者. (約 John 4: 23 -24; 太 Matt 15: 8 -9) • 約 John 4: 23 -24 • � 23� “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. � 24� God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth. ” • 23時候將到，如今就是了，那真正拜父的，要用 心靈和誠實拜他，因為父要這樣的人拜他‧ 24神 是靈, 所以拜他的，必須用心靈和誠實拜他‧

IV. Proper attitude is needed in worship. 敬拜必須有合適的態度. (詩 Ps 122: 1 -2; 37: 4; 84: 2, 10; 約 John 4: 23 -24) • • Rejoice (喜樂) Expectancy (期待) Gratitude (感謝) Commitment (委身) – I rejoiced with those who said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord. ” (詩 Ps 122: 1) – 人對我說，我們往耶和華的殿去，我就歡喜‧

詩篇 Ps 37: 4 • Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. • 又要以耶和華為樂‧�就將你心 裡所求的賜給你‧

V. What does worship do for us? 敬拜能帶給我们什麼? (詩 122: 3 -5) • 3�� Jerusalem is built like a city that is closely compacted together. 4� That is where the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, to praise the name of the Lord according to the statute given to Israel. 5� There thrones for judgment stand, the thrones of the house of David. • 3耶路撒冷被建造，如同連絡整齊的一座城‧ 4 眾支派，就是耶和華的支派，上那裡去，按以 色列的常例稱讚耶和華的名‧ 5因為在那裡設立 審判的寶座，就是大衛家的寶座‧

A. Worship gives us a workable structure and focus for life. 敬拜能帶給我�使生命發揮 功能的結構与重心. • Jerusalem is built like a city that is closely compacted together. (v. 3, NIV) (耶路撒冷被建造，如同連絡整齊的一座城. ) • Jerusalem, well-built city, built as a place for worship! (v. 3, Message) • Life is structured around the great worship festivals. (每年三大朝聖節為信徒生活計劃的中心. ) • God is the center. (神是一切的中心) – – – He Is. (�就是 ) (來 Heb 11: 6) He created. (�創造 ) He redeemed. (�救贖 ) He provides. (�供� ) He enables. (�賜能力 ) We rely on Him. (我�需要倚賴� )

B. Worship brings about common purposes and values. 敬拜能帶給我们共同的 目標与價值. • J� erusalem is built like a city that is closely compacted together. (v. 3) • 耶路撒冷被建造，如同連絡整齊的 一座城‧

C. Worship nurtures our need to be in relationship with God. 敬拜能滿足我�与神 親近的需要. • That is where the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, to praise the name of the Lord according to the statute given to Israel. (v. 4, NIV) (Command, 神的命令) • The city to which the tribes ascend, all God tribes go up to worship, to give thanks to the name of God-This is what it means to be Israel. D. Worship centers our attention on the decisions of God. 敬拜使我�的注意力集中在 神的決定上. • Throne of God (神的宝座) (v. 5) – Sovereignty (主� ) – Decision (決定) – Judgment (判断)

VI. What do we do in worship? 敬拜時我们做什麼? (詩 122: 3 -9) • • United with fellow believers in mind and purpose. (与別的信徒�合. ) Edify fellow believers. (与別的信徒互相建造) Interact with God. (与神交通, 互動) – – – Praise (讚美) Give thanks (感謝) Pray (祷告) Listen to God (听神�話 ) Wait on God’s decisions (等候神的決定) Make commitment to God’s values and causes (向神委身献己)

Offer yourself to God 向神献上自己 (詩 Ps 122: 9; � Rom 12: 1) • For the sake of the house of God, GOD, I’ll do my very best for you. (Ps 122: 9, Message) • 因耶和華我們神殿的緣故，我要為你求 福‧ (神啊, 我要為祢尽上最大的努力. )
