Reading • Reading books and reading records are to be brought into school every day. Children are expected to keep a note of where they have read up to in their book. Please listen to your child read as frequently as possible and record this in their records. There may be some delay in receiving new reading books due to books being quarantined after use. • Ask them questions about the text, make predictions, discuss characters, to check their understanding.

School Equipment • • Outdoor games and Learning- Monday and Tuesday pm Games/Outdoor PE – White T-shirt, warm tracksuit or trousers, jumper, trainers. Gloves, hats and outdoor waterproof coat. Jewellery needs to be removed, including earrings. There is no need for your child to bring any equipment into school. Please do not bring in large bags as there is limited space in the classroom. Norbury book bags are sufficient. Children can bring in a labelled water bottle – please bring a clear bottle with a sports cap. No juice or fizzy drinks. Children can bring in their own snacks for playtime – we would encourage the children to bring in healthy snacks.
