Award Scheme
Adventure Challenge The Adventure Challenge is designed to broaden each Joey Scout's life experience in the wider world. This is achieved through participation in activities to places not normally visited by your Mob.
Buddy Challenge Joey Scout Mobs can get together, share activities and have great fun. One Mob visits the other, who then returns the visit. Special activities are held when Mobs visit.
Care and Share Challenge Each Mob plans and runs programs for one month that focuses on caring and sharing. As a highlight, a special deed is done for the local community.
Environment Challenge Environmental activities are directed at the Mob rather than the individual Joey Scout. The Project will take the form of four Challenges to be done by the Mob. Four simple environmental tasks need to be completed which reflect nature and outdoors.
Special Interest Badges There a range of Special Interest badges that the Mob will work towards – usually 2 are programmed each year. e. g. Their Service Our Heritage, Harmony Day, Landcare etc.
Promise Challenge The aim of this challenge is to allow the older Joey Scouts to gain a greater understanding of the Promise and Law and to learn about our founder, Lord Baden-Powell (BP), and the history of Scouting. This challenge will require the Joey Scout to complete certain elements away from the Mob meeting.

Group Fundraising Our major, regular fundraiser is a Bunnings BBQ —normally held once or twice a term. Our annual fundraising event is the Fertiliser Drive – generally held on the 4 th Sunday in August each year. This activity raises vital funds for our Group and help is needed to deliver the leaflets and the fertiliser orders on the day All families are expected to assist with Group fundraising.
