What you can be working on… ► ► ► Investigate careers, colleges, and training programs. Start thinking about what you might want to do. Attend college, armed services, and technical college visits at WHS. Visits are in the announcements. If possible, visit campuses as well. If you are college bound, select 3 to 5 colleges – create a folder/notebook for each. Keep a list of deadlines and requirements for each school. Review your transcript to make sure you are taking the classes you need for graduation and post graduation plans. Take the ACT, SAT and ASVAB. Keep copies of transcripts, letters of recommendation, resumes, and essays (have several copies of each), as well as scholarship paperwork.

ACT, SAT, & ASVAB • ACT/SAT needed for scholarships, colleges and technical schools. • Juniors are encouraged to take the ACT & SAT in the late spring. • Take ACT and SAT again fall of Senior year. • When signing up for the ACT/SAT, remember to use your free score reports. • ASVAB needed for armed services, but it is a great assessment for anyone. It is offered twice a year at WHS.

Test Info & Prep Make sure to: Keep a list of all your log-in and passwords List WHS as your high school so your scores can be added to your transcript Use your FREE score reports to colleges or trade schools Remember your ID and ticket on test day Answer every question. There is no penalty for guessing on either the ACT or SAT Practice … Practice before test day (Free test-prep is available for both the ACT & SAT through Apex for all MSBSD students and though Khan Academy for students who have taken the PSAT or SAT. )
