VENUS MEDICAL INTRANET is a RIS (NMIS) solution optimized to support nuclear medicine. VENUS MEDICAL INTRANET based on the newest software development technologies is web-enabled; that means that no software has to be installed on client PCs and maintenance can be carried automatically. VENUS MEDICAL INTRANET can easily be used by a large number of users at a reduced cost. VENUS MEDICAL was developed to the IHE (Integrating Healthcare Enterprise) Technical Framework data model and worflow description in addition to delivering intelligent procedure scheduling.

Scheduling Complete information is provided easily with patient names, heigh, age, sex and procedures presented repeatedly to avoid mistakes. The appointments for existing patients are easily scheduled from the RIS or HIS database.

Hot Laboratory Management - Preparations Radiopharmaceutical management This module controls the management of the hot and cold products of the department, from the order until the elimination (with the traceability of the products). Quality control: Through the predifinition of protocols you can fixed for each pharmaceutical preparation some key criterias (minimum/maximum activity PH etc. . ) that are allowed. When the minimum/ maximum values are exceed during preparation, the system can either give a warning & block the preparation. VENUS MEDICAL INTRANET perform the quality control for each pharmaceutical (possible connexion to the software for spectrometry/chromatography).

Calculation of patient dose: VENUS MEDICAL INTRANET automatically calculates the patient dose needed at preparation time of the standard patient dose at injection time. A Work List is established with the pharmaceutical preparations needed for that day and the patient dose is automatically calculated based on weight, age & length.
