HOW IT WORKS FOR THE USER No additional work needed – existing models are compatible. Model using MDHT’s UI as you would normally – set cardinality, terminology, template. Id, value constraints, etc. Custom OCL constraints are supported. 6 National E-Health Transition Authority www. nehta. gov. au

HOW IT WORKS AS A TECHNOLOGY MDHT generates OCL for model constraints, which gets inserted as-is into Java validation code to perform validation at runtime.
