What do you need to produce You are to produce an A 1 promotional poster for the charity of your choice and a 30 second radio advert. Your print poster needs to be based on your own original image / images. As an extension task you will also produce a 30 second video advert. This is group task. Poster and a radio advert are individual tasks, but the video advert is a group task.

Identify advertising techniques used. Lots of charity adverts use emotional persuasion techniques to encourage us to respond to their appeals. Explain how emotional persuasions are conveyed and communicated through use of media techniques.

For example, an advertisement must be in good taste and must not claim that its product can do things that it can not. Visit the ASA website and find their code of advertising practice for the medium that you are going to use. Make notes on restrictions and limitations that apply.
