FMP PROPOSAL PITCH Title: The Beasts Behind The Hype Tag Line: How do you become a hype beast? Media format of my project: Documentary. What is your role in the project: I will be behind the camera. Duration: 3 -5 minute video. Target Audience: My project is aimed at 16 -25 year olds. Genre/Format: Culture Concept Inspirations: Stacey Dooley & Joe La Puma

Question to Answer What is the key question you are asking? I am asking the audience if they know anything about the Hype beast culture and what it takes to become one, and if not then this documentary will be very informative for those who haven’t the slightest inkling on this culture/movement. Who is in the film? Those starring in the film will be myself, friends and also store customers too, who have enough knowledge on this topic. Where will you film? I will film in a number of places, from the college to sneaker stores such as Footlocker, Selfridges & Nike Town. How you will put it together? I will make an intro to the documentary talking to the camera introducing the topic, I will also interview people individually in a closed environment, in an open environment like in a store, film them with their product, film around the stores and also peoples sneaker collection.

Synopsis What is my project about? My project is a Documentary about an underground culture that is rapidly growing and increasing in popularity worldwide. From an outsiders point of view they see it as a trend and find what they are doing to be quite ridiculous as they are so dedicated to the cause, whether that be camping outside a store days before for a pair of trainers or a jumper, or whether it be paying thousands of pounds for a jumper with one word written across the front.

Where will you film? Nike Town Footlocker Selfridges
