I. God’s Salvation Plan 神的救恩計劃

I. “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing. ” “父阿，赦免他們‧因為 他們所作的，他們不曉得‧” Luke 23: 33 -38 (v. 34) Condition of fallen and lost humans. They cannot tell right from wrong. Isaiah 53: 6 (Sheep gone astray) Jesus’ intercessory cry for mercy

2. “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise. ” “我實在告訴你，今日你要同 我在樂園裡了‧” Luke 23: 39 -43 (v. 43) Salvation by faith, not works. Humanity and Divinity in display. A cry of assurance.

3. “Woman, behold, your son!” “Behold, your mother!” “母親, 看你的兒子; ” “兒子, 看你的母親. ” John 19: 23 -27 (v. 26, 27) Humanity and compassion Believers’ loving relationship

4. “My God, why have You forsaken Me? ” “我的神， 為什麼離棄我? ” Matt 27: 45 -50 (v. 46) Isaiah 42: 1 -4; 53; Psalm 22 He took up the penalty of our sins. He suffered physically, emotionally, and spiritually. A cry of anguish.

5. “ I am thirsty. ” “我渴了. ” John 19: 28 -29 (v. 28) His human need His self-emptying (Phil 2: 5 -11) His suffering

6. “It is finished!” “成了!” John 19: 29 -30 (v. 30) God’s redemptive mission accomplished. He was not a victim; the cross was His mission.

7. “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit. ” “父阿，我將我的靈魂 交在你手裡. ” Luke 23: 44 -46 (v. 46) Total submission till the end. (Phil 2: 7 -8) Where humanity ends, divinity starts. The end of human life of incarnate Christ. God takes over from here.
