The Project What We are Doing? Testing a level 5 shared autonomous vehicle (SAV) on public roads with mixed traffic in an urbanized area. Goals: q Understand if and how the SAV will perform on public roads with other vehicles, pedestrians, etc. i. e. An SAV IRL! q Evaluating how an SAV will fit into the current transportation environment. q Proof of concept for future deployments in the LAVTA service area. 3
