Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1859 -1930)
Arthur Conan Doyle is a famous English writer of Irish origin, the author of numerous adventure, historical, journalistic, fantastic and humorous works
He was born on 22 May 1859 in Edinburgh. The author of adventure stories about the life of Sherlock Holmes grew up and was brought up in a Catholic respected family.
After Arthur reached the age of nine, for seven years he had to go to the Jesuit boarding school Hodder-preparatory school for Stonyhurst It was that time when Arthur realized his talent for making up stories
On August 6, 1885, Arthur married Louise Hawkins. At the end of February, 1888 the writer finishes "adventures of Micah Clark". Arthur had always been attracted to historical novels.
• In 1887, he published his first detective story “A study in Scarlet”.
