Donald’s will use the best there is around as they have a massive budget to use at their disposal, whereas smaller local places may never be able to pay these top radio advertising companies to help them make a radio advert.

This way, they can afford the tracks at a reasonable cost and are then able to play these songs on their shows.

The reason for this is people will be making their way to work in the morning and then leaving to go home in the afternoon and this will gain more attention as thousands of potential people can possibly be listening to your advert. However, as good as this tactic is, it will cost more as it will be a bigger audience listening to these adverts. l Also, they all have to think about other factors such as music royalties, scheduling, billing and an overall budget. Small time radio companies tend to have royalty free music as it doesn’t cost anything at all to air it on their shows or station. The main financial factor that companies have to consider is that they can blow through their budgets if they aren't careful so they have to be very careful when it comes to spending.
